Our teams are staffed with personable, responsive professionals in their field who take pride in creating an environment that supports a healthy, happy, active lifestyle.We're currently hiring qualified and energetic Housekeeper - IL to join our team of talented caregivers.Work Hours: 8:00a.m - 4:30p.m - Monday - FridayWhat WE Offer: Benefits, 401K, A Great Working Environment, Recognition and Appreciation.***Pay Based on Experience***What WE Offer: Benefits, 401K, A Great Working Environment, Recognition and Appreciation.ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:Each morning will check the schedule and confer with the Supervisor to verify assignments.Secures the necessary cleaning supplies and equipment to begin assignment.Cleans all assigned patient rooms; to include, but not limited to:Daily Vacuuming of floorsDaily cleaning of individual bathrooms.Cleans & deodorizes all fixtures, tiles and mirrors.Re-supplies paper & soap products.Remove trash.Mop floor.Dust furniture (including bedframe), pictures, mirrors, and windowsills.Wash spots from walls.Wipe down all baseboards.Monthly polish all kick zones on patient room doors. Daily clean classrooms and offices on halls when assigned.Empty all other trash receptacles in patient room. Keep cans clean.Monthly do high dusting throughout room.Perform other related duties as assigned. SPECIFIC ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
Weekly dust all picture frames on assigned hallway.See supervisor when all assigned rooms are complete.On the weekend, as assigned will clean the guestroom throughout.Cleans bathrooms.Change bed linens and bathroom towels, as needed.Vacuum carpeted areas.Clean kitchen area, dining area, and lounge areas, if appropriate. Dust all furniture and television.Use Windex to clean windows.Responsible for reading, following, and understanding the Springmoor Inclement Weather and Fire and Safety plans.Responsible for being familiar with and following Springmoor policy and procedure, task lists, and guidelines.Confer with supervisor for all housekeeping matters. Keep supervisor abreast of all patient/resident concerns encountered.Responsible for understanding the Hazard Communication Program.Performs other duties as assigned.Qualifications
- Minimum of one year experience in Housekeeping.
- Requires friendly and courteous attitude.
