Job Summary
The primary purpose of your job position is to perform the day-to-day activities of the Housekeeping Department, in accordance with current federal, state, and local standards, guidelines and regulations governing our facility, and as may be directed by the Administrator, and/or the Housekeeping Supervisor, to assure that our facility is maintained in a clean, safe, and comfortable manner.
Job Responsibilities
The Housekeeper assumes daily responsibility in the following areas:
Perform day-to-day housekeeping functions as assigned.
Perform specific tasks in accordance with daily work assignments.
Ensure that assigned work areas are maintained in a clean, safe, comfortable, and attractive manner.
Ensure that all equipment, tools, supplies, etc., are properly stored at all times.
Follow all cleaning schedules and policies established by the facility.
Keep supervisor informed of supply needs.
Follow all safety protocols and policies carefully.
Attend required in-services, or other required meetings.
Perform other tasks, duties or projects as assigned.
Qualifications
Ability to make decisions independently, to follow directions and communicate effectively with other team members.
Physically capable of doing work that requires frequent lifting, standing, pushing, and pulling.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Reliable, compassionate, and ready to help as needed.
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Must have good references from previous employers.
