The Physical Plant at Marist College seeks applicants for a Housekeeper. Housekeepers perform professional custodial duties which include cleaning and routine maintenance of buildings, furniture and fixtures within academic, administrative, and dormitory facilities. The schedule for this position will be: 7:30 a.m. 4:15 p.m. with Wednesday and Thursday off. Minimum Qualifications: Six months of professional custodial experience. Must pass a security and background investigation. Institutional housekeeping experience and the ability to clean with attention to detail. Essential Functions: Operates and maintains all cleaning equipment Strips, wet mops, dust mops, and waxes floors Washes walls, windows, glass partitions, and blackboards Maintains and cleans washrooms Polishes furniture and fixtures Moves furniture from building to building as needed Sets up and rearranges rooms for special events/functions Removes all trash and other rubbish Maintains recycling equipment Vacuums and sham...Housekeeper, Hotel, Education, Housekeeping, Equipment, Cleaning
