Waldorf University has an immediate
full-time Housekeeper position available for general housekeeping duties in both academic buildings and/or residence halls. Hours are 6:00am to 2:30pm Monday through Friday with rotational Saturdays in residence halls (1.5-3hrs). This is a 12 month, benefit eligible position. Those interested in part-time, may also apply.
Specific Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Daily checks and cleaning of facility, restrooms, classrooms, offices and public spaces including stairwells, hallways, lounges, laundry areas...
- Sweeping
- Mopping
- Vacuuming
- Cleaning, disinfecting and stocking bathrooms
- Removal of garbage
- General housekeeping and laundry
- Adherence to safety precautions
Qualifications - Some cleaning experience preferred, but not required
- HS Diploma preferred, but not required
- Position is very physical requiring bending, lifting, pushing, pulling, climbing stairs & step ladders, walking, and will be in contact with chemicals used for cleaning. Must be capable of lifting up to 50lbs to waist level or a shared weight of 100lbs.
