As a Housekeeper, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and comfort of patient rooms, managing laundry services, and ensuring the overall hygiene of the facility, all while contributing to a supportive and healing environment. Position Details:
- Schedule: Full-time, Monday-Friday.
- Location: On-site presence required in Gilman, IL.

Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain a welcoming, clean, and orderly environment throughout the facility.
- Thoroughly clean and sanitize patient rooms, bathrooms, kitchens, and common areas.
- Ensure patient rooms are stocked with essential supplies.
- Dispose of trash and waste in accordance with safety protocols.
- Report maintenance issues promptly to the Maintenance Supervisor.
- Performs daily cleaning of assigned rooms, including changing bed linens, replenishing towels, thoroughly cleaning bathrooms, vacuuming, mopping, dusting, and maintaining kitchen areas.
- Utilize custodial supplies according to safety protocols.
Requirements:
- At least one year of housekeeping experience.
Preferences:
- Housekeeping experience in a residential, hospital, or medical setting.
Abilities and Skills:
- Adherence to OSHA standards and facility protocols to ensure a safe environment.
- Strong understanding of patient confidentiality, particularly when working in sensitive areas such as patient rooms.
- Physical stamina to perform tasks such as lifting, standing for long periods, bending, and pushing cleaning equipment.
- Ability to interact respectfully with patients, families, and staff.
- Knowledge of proper use of cleaning supplies, equipment, and chemicals.
