Housekeeper Minimum Qualifications: High School Diploma or GED. Housekeeper Skills & Knowledge: Thorough understanding of safety hazards and proper use of various cleaning and sanitizing solutions; detailed-oriented and thorough; ability to keep the property clean and orderly; good interpersonal skills with polite and courteous demeanor toward residents, staff, and visitors to the property.Housekeeper Special Requirements: Must be 21 years or older to drive agency vehicles, Must complete and maintain the required registry clearance and criminal fingerprint background checks; must be able to endure long hours of continuous work; able to lift, bend, stoop, climb, reach, and lift up to 50 pounds at a time; maintain First Aid and CPR Certification, Valid Driver's License/Minimum Liability Automotive Insurance; Housekeeper Job duties include, but are not limited to:
- Performs cleaning, housekeeping, and light maintenance tasks and services throughout Autumn Ridge.
- Gathers and disposes of trash, wastebaskets, and relines with plastic bags. Vacuums and dust windowsills, blinds, floors, furniture, and equipment in orderly fashions.
- Participates in, instructs and promotes resident participation in recreation and leisure activities both in/out of facility.
- Treats residents, families, co-workers, the public, state officials and consultants with respect, courtesy and tact. Listens to, uses good judgment and responds in a timely manner to the resident and provides follow up, keeping supervisor informed.
- Examines property for safety hazards; reports problems to management or other appropriate staff.
- Completes resident's laundry/linens in an orderly fashion.
