Qualifications
* HS Diploma or Equivalent
* Must successfully complete all Atria specified training programs.
* Able to operates cleaning equipment such as: iron, washer & dryer, brooms, mops, vacuums, etc.
* Able to work various schedules and shifts as needed.
* Must be fully vaccinated and provide vaccination record card at time of hire.
Responsibilities
The Housekeeper is responsible for maintaining a clean and safe environment for residents and staff by performing cleaning duties assigned to apartments, interior and exterior common areas and amenities
* Clean public/common areas and resident's apartments.
* Distribute laundered articles and linens.
* Change beds.
* Clean public restrooms and replenish supplies as needed.
* Sweep, scrub, wax, and polish floors.
* Clean rugs, carpets, upholstered furniture, and draperies.
* Dust furniture and equipment.
* Wash walls, woodwork, windows, door panels, and sills.
* Wash, dry and iron resident laundry and community linens.
* Fold and/or hang laundry appropriately.
* Distribute laundered articles and linens.
* Maintain and clean resident laundry areas .
* Wash windows at reasonable heights through out the community as requested.
* Keep utility and storage rooms in clean and orderly condition.
* Disinfect and sterilize equipment and supplies.
* Stock cleaning cart with supplies.
* Empty wastebaskets, and transport trash to disposal area.
* Ensure with maintenance that trash and dumpster areas are clean.
* Perform minor maintenance tasks as needed.
* Report resident issues or changes in health or living status promptly.
* Report potentially unsafe conditions or maintenance related issues promptly to Supervisor.
* May perform other duties as needed and/or assigned.
Salary Range
The wage range for this position is $21.00/hr - $24.15/hr, dependent on prior work history and experience
