The Housekeeper at Hueston Woods Lodge & Conference Center is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and tidiness in all areas of the facility. This includes guest rooms and public areas. The Housekeeper plays a vital role in ensuring a pleasant and comfortable stay for our guests.
Responsibilities:
- Clean and sanitize guest rooms and bathrooms, including replenishing supplies and amenities.
- Utilize appropriate cleaning chemicals and follow safety procedures.
- Vacuum, sweep, mop, and dust public areas, hallways, and staircases.
- Ensure that all equipment and supplies are properly stored and maintained.
- Assist with laundry services, including sorting, washing, drying, and folding linens.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management.
- Adhere to company policies and procedures, including health and safety guidelines.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- Previous housekeeping experience is preferred.
- Knowledge of proper cleaning techniques and use of cleaning equipment.
- Ability to work independently and efficiently.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to lift and carry heavy objects, and perform physical tasks as needed.
- Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays.
