Andalusia Manor is looking for a housekeeper with good work ethics, with previous longterm care experience preferred. Ensures the provision of a clean environment for our residents and staff, providing high quality services and high standrads of cleanliness, ensuring compliance with infection control procedures. Duties and Responsibilities Carries out all cleaning duties as directed by the Housekeeping Supervisor according to required department polices and procedures Ensures tat daily and deep cleaning schedules are adhered to. Ensures that all cleaning equipment is correctly and safely used and kept in a safe condition. REports any defects to the Supervisor. Practices sensitivity to the privacy and individual needs of the residents. Adheres to infection control policies at all times. Adheres to correct use of personal protective equipment (PPE) requirements. Ensures all necessary documentation is completed daily. Essential Functions Dust furniture, woodwork,equipment and dust-mops floors. polishes and clean fixtures in rooms and bathrooms. Wet-mops rooms, halls, and other areas. Cleans vents, fan fixtures, top of windows, door frames and high surfaces. Gathers and disposes of trash and waste materials using specified bags and containers. Move furniture and other heavy objects as required. Performs cleaning procedures of resident rooms and prepares rooms for new admissions; follows isolation procedures in isolation rooms. Cleans and disinfects all fixtures, floors, mirrors, windows, doors and walls of bathrooms.
