Housekeeper

We are looking for an organized and hardworking housekeeper to join our team, Monday - Friday 3:00 pm - 10:00 pm.Daily tasks include:Sweeping/vacuuming, mopping Laundering naptime bedding and soft classroom materialsCleaning and sanitizing high touch areas and itemsCollecting and disposing of trash from offices and common areasDustingCleaning student and staff bathroomsEmptying, cleaning, and refilling water dispensersGathering, stocking, and/or delivering supplies Assisting in all applicable areas of the school as neededQualifications and Requirements:Must meet background check requirements for employment in the childcare industry and additional school requirements may applyAbility to work independently, stay on task, and remain motivatedPerforms tasks with speed and attention to detailAble to walk 3-5 miles a day and lift up to 40 poundsEffective communication skillsStrong organization skillsUnderstand that the purpose of the position is to support the teamWilling to take initiativeStrong understanding of the need for a clean environmentKnowledge of proper cleaning and sanitizing processesMust be able to read and follow detailed written and verbal instructionsMust be able to use mechanical equipment, such as carpet cleaner, vacuum, tools etc.Must be able to use various chemicals and cleaning agents We'd love to hear from you if:You have a desire to work with young children and their familiesYou have prior experience working as a Housekeeper in a school or childcare center or the hospitality industryYou have a high school diploma or higher Compensation: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour
