Description

The Joseph Eddie Ballard Western Kentucky Veterans Center is a 156-bed long term care facility located in beautiful Hanson, Kentucky that is committed to serving Kentucky's Veterans by fostering independence, preserving dignity and providing compassionate care.

We are currently seeking a self- motivated, energetic Housekeepers to perform the following:

* Maintain a clean, safe, orderly, comfortable, sanitary attractive environment.

* Maintain records of maintenance and cleaning of assigned areas and supply usage.

* Other housekeeping duties as needed such as cleaning and maintaining floors.

The ideal candidate will work within a team-centered environment to meet our commitment to serve Kentucky's Veterans by fostering independence, preserving dignity, and providing Compassionate Care.

This position, in Hopkins county has an approved Locality Premium of $7.89 in compliance with 101 KAR 2:034 Section 9(1).

This job classification is approved for the following shift premiums, in compliance with 101 KAR 2:034 Section 9(2), which are applied to the base salary:

* Second & Third shift: 15%

* Weekend & Holidays: 25%

Probationary Period

This job has an initial and promotional probationary period of 6 months, except as provided in KRS 18A.111.
