HNW family in Montecito seeks a full-time, full charge housekeeper to join their dynamic team. Must have at least 5 years of experience maintaining a large private estate. The household currently consists of a lovely family of 4 and full staff (Estate Manager, Chef, Nanny, Assistants) on site. Must be kid-friendly and pet-friendly. Ideal candidates will have a great attitude, a keen eye for detail, be an experienced and thorough cleaner, a great organizer, an excellent laundress, and take great pride in their work. Must be reliable, friendly, and be a team player. Duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to the following: •Must maintain strict confidentiality regarding principals, family members, guests and staff. •Responsible for performing all daily housekeeping duties on a regular schedule to ensure the highest standards of cleanliness and organization throughout the home and property. •Responsible for proper care of stone, tile, wood, upholstery, leather, silver, and other materials throughout the home. •Responsible for proper care of fine china, silverware and stemware. •In charge of all laundry related tasks including proper laundering, stain removal, identifying repairs, ironing or steaming of all clothing and linens, as well as managing dry cleaning. Must be experienced and diligent about proper fabric care. •Regularly identify and report any needed household repairs, damage or other concerns to the EM. •Maintain household cleaning supplies, toiletries and back stock, communicating the need for replenishment in a timely manner. •Will perform seasonal deep cleaning and detailing projects assigned by principals and EM when needed. •Will assist with guest hospitality during their stay, ensuring guests have the supplies they need, and making sure the guest house is prepared for visitors, as family entertains often. •Collaborating with staff on events, dinner parties, and special projects as needed. •Other tasks may be required from time to time, such as running an errand, meeting a vendor, assisting with childcare and pet care. •Must be flexible for an occasional weekend or evening request, but shift is typically weekdays only. Requirements: •Must be fluent in English and be an effective communicator •Excellent references required •Minimum 5 years of experience working in a large private home •Valid Driver's License, clean driving record and background check •Legally able to work in the United States •Ability to work both independently and as part of a team •Comfortable and willing to work in a home with pets and children •Polished, poised, and professional in both mindset and manner •Must use of utmost discretion and confidentiality at all times Job Type: Live Out Full Time Days per Week: 5 Salary Offered: $40 Per Hour Potential for Bonus: Yes Experience Req.: 5-7 year Benefits: Paid Time Off, 401K offered after 1 year
