Job Type Part-timeDescriptionEmployment Status : Part-TimeFLSA Status: Non Exempt/HourlySchedule: Mondays: 8 am - 3 pm6-8 hours per week Summary:The Housekeeper will clean, sanitize, and maintain areas by providing daily cleaning services for Pastor's residence.Position Responsibilities:Cleaning to include but not limited to dusting, sweeping, mopping, waxing and vacuuming Pastor residence, washing and putting away dishes, washing and ironing laundry .Develops and adheres to cleaning schedule.Communicates effectively with management to address issues or problem areas.Communicates and collaborates effectively with staff/faculty to address cleaning needs/requests.Stocking/Replacing of cleaning supplies where refilling is needed (i.e. bathrooms, meeting spaces).Sanitizing/disinfecting frequently used areas around campus buildings (i.e. doors, tables).Organizing cleaning closets for use.Notifies maintenance/facilities department of needed maintenance or repairs.Adhering to safety training and protocols on a daily basis, and taking precautionary measure to ensure the safety and well-being of self, others.Responsible for protecting the confidentiality of any information or material obtained in the service with the organization to include but not limited to client names and information, services rendered to clients, donors names and gifts, internal and external investigations or results of any investigations, and financial information.Adherence to the Code of Conduct and the Faith and Moral is mandatory.Every employee is required to take a solution-oriented approach in their interactions and undertakings, as well as being a team member that promotes collaboration and commitment to the Mission and Vision of the organization.Performs other duties as assigned. RequirementsMinimum Qualifications:High school diploma or equivalent preferred.Sufficient education and literacy needed to identify and read product labels and to communicate with guests about job-related needs.Must have reliable transportation.ExperienceMinimum of two (2) years' experience in cleaning including dusting, mopping, sweeping, and vacuuming.Minimum Knowledge and Skills:Working knowledge of cleaning chemicals/supplies and equipment use.Thorough understanding of safety hazards and proper use of various cleaning and sanitizing solutions.Ability to remain discreet and respect the privacy of residents, tenants, and/or guests.Good interpersonal skills with polite and courteous demeanor toward staff and visitors to the property.Experience with computer software and Microsoft Office Applications.A solid grasp of cleaning and organizing.Must be detail oriented, organized, self-motivated, work well independently and on a team.Must have good written and verbal skills.Must have good critical thinking and problem solving skills.Travel Requirements:No travel requirements are needed.Physical Requirements:The position requires the following physical demands in the frequency noted.C = Constantly (2/3 or more of the time) O = Occasionally (Up to 1/3 of the time)F = Frequently (From 1/3 to 2/3 of the time) R = Rarely (less than on hour per week)Lifting up to 25 pounds OReach above shoulder height CSitting RReach below shoulder height OWalking CDriving RRunning RStooping OStanding CPushing FBending waist (forward or sideways) CPulling FBalancing FTalking RSquatting OHearing FClimbing OCrawling RRepetitive motions CThis is not necessarily an exhaustive list of all responsibilities, skills, duties or working conditions associated with the job.
