The Housekeeper job is responsible for ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness and orderliness throughout the Inn. You'll have a solid understanding of hospitality and cleaning practices, creating a welcoming and pristine environment for guests. This is a part-time, morning shift position with the flexibility to work weekends as needed. If a weekend shift is required, a weekday will be given off. Housekeeper Responsibilities:
- Room Cleaning: Clean and change over guest rooms to meet high standards
- Touch-Ups: Perform touch-ups as needed to maintain the cleanliness and appearance of rooms
- Laundry: Handle all aspects of laundry, including washing, drying, folding, and distributing linens and towels
- Server: Assist in serving guests during meal times
- Additional Tasks: Support other housekeeping tasks as needed to ensure a pristine environment
Housekeeper Qualifications:
- High School Graduate preferred
- 1+ years of housekeeping or cleaning experience
- No software required
- Ability to repeatedly lift 50 pounds, bend/lift/twist
- Positive attitude and team-oriented approach
- Ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, and take on new tasks with flexibility
- Strong commitment to providing outstanding service and maintaining high standards of cleanliness
Housekeeper Details:
- Schedule: Weekdays and weekends (morning shift 7 AM to 1:30 PM, with weekends as needed)
- Pay Rate: $17 per hour (may earn more upon going permanent)
- Expected hours: 20-30 per week, with more during peak times
- Start Date: ASAP (working interview; candidate's name will be sent to Geoff with the start date)
