What You Will Be Doing

• Overseeing all housekeeping operations
• Ensuring that cleanliness standards are consistently met
• Managing a large housekeeping staff, including hiring, training and scheduling
• Maintaining inventory of cleaning supplies and linens
• Collaborating with other departments to ensure a seamless guest experience
• Ensuring compliance with health, safety and sanitation regulations
• Addressing guest concerns or requests promptly
• Monitoring the overall performance of the housekeeping department and implementing improvements where necessary

Director of Housekeeping Key Responsibilities

You will lead the housekeeping team, ensuring that all areas of the property are kept spotless and that your staff is well-trained and motivated. Your attention to detail and leadership will be key to creating an environment where guests feel comfortable and cared for. You will also develop and manage housekeeping budgets, schedule staff shifts and prepare reports for the General Manager or establishment owner.

Director of Housekeeping Basic Requirements

• Previous experience in housekeeping management, preferably in a luxury hotel or resort
• Exceptional organizational and leadership skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
• Proven experience managing staff, schedules and budgets
• Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends and holidays
