RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Work 30 hours/week and receive Full Time benefits!
- Provide routine cleaning and maintenance of the public and common areas of the academy
- Adhere to all Nexus safety guidelines as well as federal, state and local requirements.
- Maintain an adequate stock of cleaning supplies and materials.
- Supervise resident maintenance, housekeeping and renovation projects.
- Ensure confidentiality regarding residents' issues, background and treatment and comply with Nexus policies involving resident privacy and confidentiality rules for residents and their families.
Qualifications:
- High School diploma or GED (preferred can work with a candidate working on acquiring GED with intent to complete)
- Housekeeping and cleaning experience is preferred, but not required.
- First Aid/CPR/Blood Bourne Pathogen/TCI/Medication certification required annually.
- Valid driver's license and a driving record that meets state regulating driving requirements and satisfies corporate eligibility standards.
Physical Demands:
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds unassisted and up to 100 pounds with assistance.
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time (4-6 hours) and navigate stairs frequently.
- Must be able to tolerate chemical odors or scents conducive to cleaning supplies and materials.
- Must be able to climb, twist, turn and bend in a manner conducive to a housekeeping environment.
