Summary:
Responsible for cleaning and preparing assigned rooms for hotel guests. Responsible for handling guests requests or complaints quickly and courteously.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
* Responsible for cleanings guest rooms as assigned by Supervisor
* Properly load your cart per specifications at the beginning of your shift
* Service all stay-over rooms, changing sheets/pillow slips daily and replenishing towels/amenities as needed
* Clean all check-out rooms thoroughly, with close attention to detail, changing sheets and pillow slips in each room
* Handle biohazard spills in accordance with company procedures as well as OSHA guidelines
* Change bath rugs in checkout rooms, replenishing towels and amenities as needed
* Check status of the rooms during morning and afternoon room check, and update the status of room via the telephone after completing cleaning assignment in checkout rooms
* Maintain high standards of guest relations when in contact with the guests, and assist with extra towels, soap, shampoo, lotion, note pads, etc., when requested
* Inform the status board of any items left in a checkout room
* Properly secure all guest rooms when exiting
* Provide outstanding customer service in a timely manner to both guests and fellow team members
* Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements:
Qualifications
* One month of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience preferred
* Previous experience working in a team or group environment
* Ability to functionally communicate occupational-based English, both written and verbal
* Able to interact with guests in a professional and courteous manner
* Must be at least 18 years of age
* High school diploma or equivalent preferred
* Obtain and maintain all work cards as required by the company
* Verify right to work in the United States
