To maintain a clean, sanitary, comfortable, and tidy environment for the Retreat Center. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:Sweep, scrub and mop floors. Vacuum carpets and rugs. Dust/clean furniture and fixtures. Empty and clean trash containers. Dispose of trash in a sanitary manner. Clean wash basins, toilets, mirrors and showers. Wipe down glass surfaces. Make up beds and change linens as required. Wash windows as scheduled. Sort, wash, load and unload laundry. Operate mechanized cleaning equipment. Monitor and report necessary repairs and replacements. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AT ENTRY:Education/ Experience: High School diploma. Knowledge of cleaning and sanitation products, techniques and methods. Working knowledge of operating cleaning equipment; i.e., vacuum, etc. Competencies (as demonstrated through experience, training, and/or testing):Attention to detail. Customer focus. Reliability.
