About the Role:We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team at Hilton Garden Inn Saratoga Springs. As a Housekeeper, you will be responsible for ensuring that our guests' rooms and common areas are clean, comfortable, and inviting. Your attention to detail and ability to follow oral and written instructions will be critical to your success in this role. You will work in a fast-paced environment, requiring you to be efficient and effective in your daily tasks. Your work will directly contribute to our guests' satisfaction and overall experience at our hotel.Minimum Qualifications:
  • Ability to speak and understand English
  • Manual dexterity and ability to perform physical tasks such as reaching overhead and lifting up to 25 pounds
  • Ability to follow oral and written instructions
  • Perform basic mathematical computations
  • Read and write in English
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Previous experience in housekeeping or a related field
  • Knowledge of floor care techniques and equipment
  • Experience working in a hotel or hospitality environment
Responsibilities:
  • Clean and maintain guest rooms and common areas, including dusting, vacuuming, and changing linens
  • Ensure that all cleaning supplies and equipment are properly stocked and maintained
  • Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel
  • Assist with laundry services as needed
  • Provide exceptional customer service to guests, responding to any requests or concerns in a timely and professional manner
Skills:As a Housekeeper, you will use your manual dexterity and attention to detail to ensure that our guests' rooms and common areas are clean and comfortable. You will follow oral and written instructions to complete your daily tasks efficiently and effectively.
