Position Description

Responsible for maintaining all areas of the job site in a clean and sanitary manner to enhance the work environment and create a positive impression for customers and visitors. This is to be completed in a safe and timely manner with the best quality possible.

Job Responsibilities

* In the foyer, lobby, offices, kitchen, conference rooms

* Clean all tables and chairs

* Clean all window ledges, dust furniture, pictures, doorways, etc

* Spot clean walls

* Vacuum carpet and mats (as needed)

* Empty all trash cans and replace liners (wash weekly)

* Clean all glass doors

* Clean coffee area and sinks

* Clean refrigerator as needed

* In the restrooms and hallway

* Empty all trash cans and replace liners

* Clean sinks, toilets and urinals

* Clean mirrors, walls and partitions

* Replace hand towels and toilet paper (as needed)

* Refill soap dispensers (as needed)

* Mop floors (as needed)

* Special tasks on weekly basis

* Window cleaning (interior and exterior) front and back of building

* Dust stair railings, beams, light fixtures, pictures and furnishings

* Mop hardwood and stone floors biweekly or as needed

* Doors (interior and exterior frames as needed)

* General cleaning as needed

* Other duties as assigned

Job Qualifications

* Minimum of 1-year experience working in the housekeeping or janitorial field.

* Must be able to read, write and communicate clearly with supervisor/co-workers and understand direction from supervisor.

* Must be able to utilize basic math.

* Must be at least 18 years of age

* Must be able to lift 50 pounds, climb, bend, twist, stand and reach repetitively

* Work in hot/cold/damp/cramped environments

* 40 or more hours per week with possible weekend work

* Background check and drug screen based on job location/requirements
