**Job Overview:**

Responsible for providing housekeeping services to provide a sparkling clean, hygienic and safe environment that is patient and family centered.

**General Responsibilities:**

* Routinely cleans patients rooms in a timely manner after discharge of patients.

* May clean nursing units, surgical areas, offices, laboratory areas, waiting areas, public restrooms, and other areas as assigned.

* Responsible for providing linen services throughout the facility.

* Monitors the facility with a critical eye to catch those items that need cleaning and attention.

* Uses cleaning supplies and equipment as regulated to provide a safe cleaning environment.

* Must be able to work with cleaning supplies in a safe manner

* Able to multi-task with safety practices.

* Demonstrates Service Excellence at all times.

* Other duties as assigned.

**Qualifications**

* High School graduate or Equivalent preferred.

* Prior housekeeping experience, preferred.

* Basic computer skills to enter patient room turnover.
