If you are up to the task of providing first-class service to our many clients and our mission to grow, then we welcome you to apply for a position.Job Skills / RequirementsJob DescriptionThe Housekeeper/Porter will clean, sanitize, and maintain multi-family and commercial buildings.Duties/ResponsibilitiesPerforms general cleaning and sanitizing tasks and services throughout the assigned property.Cleans and disinfects bathrooms.Cleans and disinfects kitchen and dining areas.Wipes and dusts surfaces in rooms and cleans mirrors; Including furniture, equipment, partitions, walls, woodwork, doors, wall decor, baseboards, etc.Vacuums and cleans floors, rugs, furniture, and drapes.Stocks towels, washcloths, and hand towels in bathrooms.Picks up and empties trash containers and recyclables into the disposal area.Follows procedures for using chemical cleaners and power equipment to maintain safety and prevent damage to floors and fixtures.In commercial property, notifies maintenance if something is not working correctly.Performs other related duties as assigned.Required Skills/AbilitiesDetail-oriented and thorough- Pays attention to detail at each customer's location, with extra attention to any special requests.Self-starter - Someone who can work independently.Skills in establishing priorities and managing workload.Ability to learn quickly.Ability to remain discreet and respect the privacy of residents, tenants, and guests.Sufficient capacity to read, write, speak, understand, and communicate in English to complete work efficiently, effectively, and courteously.Friendly and professional - able to deal with customers when they are on-site while cleaning is being performed.Team player - the ability to work within a team where members depend on each other to complete work.Physical RequirementsProlonged periods of standing and walking and frequently pulling, pushing, and bending.Must be able to lift and carry up to 25 pounds at times, and 15 lbs. for an extended period.
