Description

Carteret Management Corporation is seeking to fill a FULLTIME HOUSEKEEPER / PORTER role responsible for the cleaning and housekeeping of a BRAND NEW apartment community located in Port Charlotte. This position offers fulltime hourly employment at a competitive salary with a strong benefit package including:

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

* Work to ensure the highest level of resident satisfaction at all times.

* Perform such functions as clearing debris from grounds, cleaning office and common areas.

* Assist in the preparation of market ready units, including remove trash from vacant apartments (trash outs) prior to make-ready.

* Requisition housekeeping supplies as needed.

* Perform other general janitorial duties as assigned.

Requirements

* Excellent customer service skills.

* Prior custodial experience preferred.

* Ability to perform general custodial duties.

* Ability to handle multiple priorities.

* Ability to operate machinery and equipment necessary to perform the porter's duties including: backpack vacuum, pressure washer, hand blower, etc.

* Ability to work cooperatively and effectively with various groups (on-site staff, vendors, residents).
