But are not limited to: Performs routine 10-step cleaning of patient and non-patient areas. Dry mops, wet mops, and sanitizes hard floor surfaces. Vacuums all carpeted areas as needed. Performs discharge and terminal cleaning of precaution rooms, including wall washing and cubical cleaning as needed. Follows patient safety protocol. Removes and transports trash from assigned areas. Completes daily assignments within shift hours. Moves equipment and beds as needed. Performs room set-up and break-down for hospital meetings and functions. As assigned, effectively assumes a leadership role in the department as charge housekeeper during off-shifts or as needed. Delegates tasks, provides appropriate guidance and support to team members, and acts as a resource to new staff. Scheduled Hours: 37.5 hrs/wk. Work Shift: Evening - 3 p - 11 p, weekend/holiday rotation. Education Preferred: High School Diploma or equivalent.
