If these values mean as much to you as they do to us, apply today!Housekeeping will provide and maintain a clean, organized, sanitary environment for campers, visitors, and staff to work and live in during their time at Army Lake Camp.About the role:
- Performs housekeeping duties throughout multiple camp facilities including vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, making beds, dusting, and cleaning and restocking bathrooms and showers.
- Strips and waxes VCT flooring.
- Cleans, treats and maintains wood flooring.
- Shampoos carpets and upholstery.
- Launders sheets, blankets and other bedding.
- Inspects for and reports on maintenance needs and issues throughout facilities.
- Performs minor repairs as appropriate and directed.
- Performs deep cleaning of kitchens, storage facilities, equipment, furnishings, and bathrooms during off season.
- Tracks, regulates and orders stock of cleaning supplies.
- Interacts with and works alongside other camp staff. Frequently interacts with guests, officers, and campers.
Experience: Two years' experience in custodial and/or housekeeping role, preferably in a hospitality context.The Salvation Army is an equal opportunity employer.
