We would love to have you join our housekeeping team here at the East Peoria Embassy Suites as aLaundry Attendant!Tasks and Responsibilities: Clean and maintain hotel laundry.Ensure usage of approved cleaning chemicals.;Maintain cleanliness and organization in all work areas.Examine and sort articles for laundry according to color, fabric, dirt content, and cleaning technique required.Use laundering equipment and the correct amounts of proper chemicals to safely and thoroughly clean and press linen.Uphold departmental standards of quality of work and timing measured by brand customer satisfaction metrics and Atrium labor guidelines.Train newly hired associates and support on-going performance development.Observe precautions required to protect hotel and guest property, report damage, theft and found articles to supervisor.Follow all company and safety and security policies and procedures, report equipment problems and maintenance issues, accidents, injuries and safety hazards, or unsafe work conditions to leadership; andComplete any and all other work as required to complete the primary purpose of the position.What do we look for in someone to be successful in this role?
