Job Summary:A reputable and growing hotel is seeking a detail-oriented and self-motivated individual to fill the position of Housekeeping at our Barboursville, WV location. This role will be responsible for ensuring that all communal and guest areas within the establishment are clean, well-maintained, and presentable at all times. This is a vital role in maintaining the high standards of our company and providing a welcoming and comfortable environment for our guests.Compensation & Benefits:- Competitive salary based on experience and qualifications- Opportunities for career advancement within the companyResponsibilities:- Ensure all communal and guest areas are cleaned and maintained to company standards, including but not limited to: lobby, hallways, restrooms, and other public spaces- Clean and maintain all guest rooms to hotel standards, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, and restocking amenities- Report any maintenance issues or concerns to the appropriate department for prompt resolution- Assist with laundry duties, including washing, drying, folding, and restocking linens and towels- Ensure stock levels of cleaning and guest room supplies are maintained and inform management when supplies need to be ordered- Follow all safety and sanitation policies and procedures to ensure a clean and safe environment for guests and employees- Uphold the company's commitment to providing exceptional customer service to all guests- Other duties as assigned by managementRequirements:- High school diploma or equivalent- Prior housekeeping experience in a hotel, resort, or similar establishment preferred- Attention to detail and a strong work ethic- Ability to work independently and self-motivate- Excellent time management and organizational skills- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays, as needed- Must be able to stand, walk, lift, and bend for extended periods of time- Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds- Must have reliable transportation to and from work- Must pass a background check and drug screen prior to employmentEEOC statement:VP Management is an equal opportunity employer and values diversity at our company.
