Position: Housekeeper/Companion for educated, active widowed woman (79 years old) who appreciates the arts, museums, sports, politics, etc. and wants to enjoy her life with dignity. Assistance helping with walking using a walker and a cane at times, and able to help minimize the Principals anxiety in the morning. Location: Morristown, NJ, 3 bedroom townhome What Works Best for Family: Someone who is patient, friendly / conversational, ability to work independently and anticipate needs. Good communication skills. Someone comfortable helping with anxiety at times. Some flexibility with schedule may sometimes be required. Requested Duration: Indefinitely Position Responsibilities
- Driving: YES, Required
- Errands: Assist with daily errands, grocery shopping, rides to / from appointments or activities.2/3 times a wk Grocery Shopping
- Housekeeping: Yes, Light cleaning / tidying is required, ability to do deep housekeeping is a Plus!
- Laundry: Yes
- Cooking: Yes, Simple Meal prep, cooking basic meal
- Medication management assistance
- Ability to troubleshoot simple phone or computer issues and light administrative support (bills / banking)
- Assistance with helping with walking when needed, a walker and a cane
- Comfortable with personal hygiene assistance but not required as it's not needed at the moment
Position Requirements
- Work Hours: 7:30 AM - 4:30 PM, 6 days week, Monday-Saturday, Flexible
- Languages: English
- Experience: Years of Experience, Someone comfortable helping with anxiety and bipolar or excitable behavior
- References: Minimum of 2 References

- Must Currently Live close to the residence, with no more than a 20-30 minute commute.
