Now Hiring- Housekeeping Director
Under the direction of the Administrator, the Director of Housekeeping is responsible for the daily operations of the housekeeping department, including staffing, supply ordering and supervision. The person holding this position is delegated the responsibility for carrying out the assigned duties and responsibilities in accordance with current existing federal and state regulations and established company policies and procedures.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:A. Role Responsibilities Job Knowledge/Duties:
Attends all mandatory in-services by employees anniversary dateActs appropriately under the direction of the Administrator and acts as an active member of the interdisciplinary teamDemonstrates ability to adjust to changes in shift assignments to meet facility needsCommunicates and observes the Corporate Compliance Program effectively and complies with Code of Conduct when performing work functionsOther duties as assigned by the AdministratorB. Role Responsibilities - Administrative Duties:
Supervises staff and assists with all aspects of cleaning and maintaining the facility interior and grounds; ensures residents; rooms are safe, comfortable, and maintained in an attractive manner and that residents personal items are safeguardedTrains, evaluates, counsels, and disciplines housekeeping personnelAssists in the recruitment, interviewing, and selection and termination of housekeeping personnelEnsures cleaning schedules are followed and coordinates daily housekeeping services with other departmentsDevelops long range, short range and daily plans for the housekeeping service of the facilityMaintains pertinent records, manages budgets and supplies, and functions as a working supervisor in all areas of responsibility as the departments budgeted hours and workloadSupervises housekeeping personnel and schedules adequate coverage.
