House Attendants are responsible for positive guest interactions while on the guest floors and greeting them in a friendly and efficient manner. They must also be knowledgeable about resort and able to provide information to guests that may need assistance. At all times, House Attendants are expected to be attentive to our Guests' needs, making them feel welcomed.Your Role:You keep everything smoothly on track for the Room Attendants, supporting them in their daily task assignments.Maintain the cleanliness of assigned guest floors by vacuuming hallways and emptying hallway trash as needed.Assist Room Attendants with heavy lifting and trash removal.Ensure that linen closets are stocked with all guest room supplies and collateral.Maintain proper allotment of linens in linen closet.Responsible for removing trash and soiled linens from Room Attendants carts throughout the day.Responsible for cleanliness of linen closets in assigned areas, including sweeping and mopping.Responsible care of equipment and machines.Constant awareness of safety hazards (i.e. broken glass, frayed electrical cords, leaks, broken locks and suspicious persons) and report to Floor Supervisor or the Housekeeping Office. Follow all training procedures set forth in the Bloodborne Pathogens Program  .Practice safety standards at all times.Remain alert, courteous and helpful to guests and co-workers at all times.Assist other departments as needed.Your Environment:Well lit, temperature controlled, resort areas settings. Mostly indoors, some outside building work as well. Standing and walking on hard surface flooring. Comfortable shoes a must!QualificationsThe right person will show a lot of energy and hustle, customer service skills, and should thoroughly enjoy creating excellent experiences for our customers. The ideal candidate will also have a friendly, outgoing disposition and previous experience working in a Housekeeping department in a bustling, fast-paced, resort setting.In addition, the right candidate match should have or be able to:Housekeeping experience desirable.Neat, pleasant personality.Ability to work on feet for an extended period of time.Ability to communicate effectively.Ability to read room numbers, dates and basic instructions.Good eyesight, to examine sheets and towels when stocking.Flexible scheduling availability.Able to lift 80+ pounds and push 200+ pounds.#J-18808-Ljbffr
