Housekeeping Inspector to join our
Great Smoky Mountains, TN team! The Housekeeping Inspector is essential to delivering an exceptional first impression to our guests as they ensure that residences are in pristine condition and meet brand standards. The Housekeeping Inspector is responsible for both housekeeping and inspector tasks.
COMPENSATION: $16.00 - $16.50 per hr. *dependent upon experienceBENEFITS & PTO: Natural Retreats contributes to both employee and dependent premiums.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:- Utilize the cleaner standard checklist for each cabin to guarantee all areas are cleaned and prepared to the required standard.
- Take full responsibility for the full clean of cabins following guests departures.
- Use the correct cleaning products for the job and ensure hygiene levels are kept to a high standard.
- Regularly change cleaning materials (e.g. wipes, dusters, etc.) to ensure they are effective and hygienic.
- Replenish / maintain toiletries and other amenities.
- Ensure porches/decks are swept prior to the arrival of guests.
- Clean windows (inside).
- Periodically conduct deep cleans of ovens, microwaves, stoves, and refrigerators.
- Spot check each residence throughout the clean and escalate any maintenance issues.
- Manage the supply of cleaning materials and linen, and reorder when necessary.
- Deliver items during cleans and act as the runner to ensure homes are ready.
- Greet guests in a friendly, welcoming, and consistent demeanor.
- Approach all tasks and requests with a can do attitude.
- Act as an ambassador for Natural Retreats.

EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS:REQUIRED
- Customer-first attitude
- Minimum of one (1) year experience in a similar role
- Experience in housekeeping
- Ability to pass pre-employment testing which may include drug testing and/or background screening
- Valid Driver's License and good MVR
- Ability to multi-task and manage time effectively
- Proficient with computers and ability to learn new software systems + working experience with Microsoft Word & Excel
- Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work alone and as part of a team
- Proactive and flexible approach to work tasks
DESIRED
- Experience in property management, vacation rentals, and/or hotels
HOURS OF WORK:This is a full-time position. Weekends and holidays will generally be busy with guest arrivals and departures and are considered working days. Exact daily schedules may vary from season to season and differ from in-season to off-season.
