At the heart of the house, our Housekeeping Inspectors are responsible for ensuring the cleanliness of the hotel to the highest standard.
- To supervise and control the cleaning and servicing of all guestrooms and public areas in the hotel.
- To assist the Executive Housekeeper and property leadership with the overall cleanliness of the hotel
Position Requirements RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Conduct opening procedures and distribute work assignments.
- Inspect all assigned guestrooms ensuring that each room meets the hotel's cleanliness standards and that there is efficient stock and positioning of all guestroom amenities and supplies.
- Check all fixtures, equipment and room conditions (television, radio, lights, heating/cooling, furniture, wallpaper, etc.) for proper operation, settings and maintenance. Report any deficiencies.
- Communicate to Housekeeper any cleaning deficiencies found during inspection and ensure corrections are made.
- Update guestroom status in Property Management System.
- Assist in training of all Housekeeping associates.
- Assist Housekeepers in cleaning of guest rooms as needed
- Assist Laundry attendants and housemen as needed
- Ensure all housekeeping storage closets have proper supply levels, organization and cleanliness.
- Ensure all Lost and Found articles are logged and stored properly.
- Ensure hallways are kept clear of trash, soiled linen, cribs, rollaways and other guest service equipment.
- Perform housekeeper duties as needed or assigned.
- Assist with month end reporting and inventories.
- Assist in department meetings, i.e. developing agenda, presenting
TECHNICAL EXPERIENCE:• Must have basic knowledge of sanitation requirements/controls and applications of relevant chemicals.• Must have working knowledge of the use of laundry chemicals and different formulas, as well as effects on various types of linen.• Must have the ability to stand, walk, bend, reach and move continuously to clean rooms.• Must have the ability to read and write basic English in order to complete laundry/valet tickets and understand information such as safety labels and instructions.• Must have the ability to communicate effectively and pleasantly in English with guests as t the status• Must have the ability to push, or lift heavy loads weighing up to 30 pounds as the position requires continuous transportation of laundry to and from guest rooms.• Must have the ability to push and or pull wheeled racks and carts weighing up to 100 pounds.Position Housekeeping Inspector Location Tru by Hilton Fayetteville NC About the OrganizationThis position is currently accepting applications.
