Overview: We are a top-of-the-line Skilled Assisted Living facility in Rice Lake, WI. We are looking for someone who has a passion for cleaning! If that's you, then look no further! This position is responsible for ensuring the cleanliness of all resident rooms and community areas by performing general cleaning, laundry, and minor maintenance duties while also aiding co-workers, residents, and visitors at any time. Job Description: • Cleaning all common areas in the community and resident rooms on a routine and as needed, but in an orderly fashion to not compromise the care being provided by Clinical Care Assistants. • Deep cleaning resident rooms and common areas including, but not limited to; moving furniture to clean underneath, wiping down all doors, vacuuming floors, polishing floors if needed, wiping corners, walls, and base boards, dusting light fixtures and pictures, cleaning windows and dust blinds, straightening up the room, and shampooing furniture and flooring. • Cleaning all areas of the resident and public bathrooms including, but not limited to, scrubbing toilets, wiping mirrors, cleaning and disinfecting countertops, and mopping floor. • Supplying Kleenex, hand soap, and toilet paper. • Vacuuming all common areas, offices, and halls, and removing all trash and debris. • Dusting offices and common areas. • Maintaining safe storage spaces and a neat and orderly cleaning cart that is to be secured and inaccessible to residents. • Ensuring an odor-free community. • Maintaining a laundry area that is clean and organized. • Coordinating and performing day-to-day laundry functions for resident and community items. • Following infection control procedures when completing tasks. • Disposing of worn, torn, or ripped linens, keeping inventory of linens thrown, and reporting linen needs to supervisor for ordering purposes. • Maintaining all equipment and supplies in proper condition and notifying the Administrator of any needed supplies or repairs. • Assisting fellow team members in maintaining a clean, homelike environment that is free from hazards by tidying up spaces, cleaning up after residents and ensuring that they always look presentable. • Showing up for work on time and following the appropriate call-in procedure when necessary. Qualifications: • High School Diploma or GED. • 2+ years' experience as a Housekeeper/Laundry Attendant in an Assisted Living or similar setting to include knowledge of how to properly use laundry equipment, cleaning machines, and cleaning products. • CBRF Registry, CPR/AED certified, and Alzheimer's/Dementia care experience preferred, but not required
