About Evermore Evermore Orlando Resort is an innovative 1,100-acre resort adjacent to Walt Disney World® featuring centrally owned upscale and upsized vacation rental homes, flats & villas, a luxury Conrad hotel, 36 holes of world-class Jack Nicklaus golf, and a massive 20-acre tropical beach complex around Evermore Bay, our 8-acre crystalline water amenity by Crystal Lagoons®. The surrounding beach areas feature zero-entry swim areas, bars, cabanas, private firepits, a lively food hall & gourmet market, a casual dining restaurant, and an event Boathouse that will provide a picture-perfect backdrop for weddings, banquets, and corporate meetings. Evermore is building a team that will bring these experiences to life and is seeking individuals who want the challenge of building this exciting resort experience.Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in various pre-opening activities, including room and facilities punch inspections, and other intensive logistics and planning processes.
  • Perform human resources functions within the Housekeeping Department to include recruiting, hiring, training, and performance feedback.
  • Create a work culture that embodies respect, honesty, fairness, excellence, hard work, teamwork, empathy, caring and kindness.
  • Maintain professional working relationships and promote open lines of communication with co-managers, employees, other departments, and 3rd party partners.
  • Hold daily, weekly, and monthly department meetings designed to provide necessary contact and operating information for all departmental employees.
  • Ensure team members are held accountable to adhere to company policies such as grooming, time clock procedures, attendance guidelines, etc.
  • Review employee satisfaction results to identify and address employee problems or concerns.
  • Create action plans to address performance concerns and follow up with staff on progress
  • Control the product inventory and issuance procedures for uniforms, linens, attic stock supplies and daily operating supplies, etc.
  • Administer property policies consistently; disciplinary procedures and documentation are completed according to Standard Operation Procedures (SOPs).
  • Maintain housekeeping staffing levels to provide optimal performance.
  • Create and administer a thorough training program for all positions within the Housekeeping Department.
  • Mentor supervisors & inspectors through goal setting and training opportunities
  • Ensure all staff are trained and up to date on required company and state required trainings.
  • Ensure proper usage and training of chemicals and equipment.
  • Manage inspection program which upholds the Evermore standards for guest ready accommodation. Inspection programs should be a tool to provide employee feedback for both reward and recognition and constructive feedback.
  • Through data analysis identify areas in need of improvement. Utilize guest feedback and internal data to identify those areas.
  • Address areas needing improvement with action planning goals, include team member input in devising solutions.
  • Personally visit and inspect housekeeping areas daily to ensure brand standards are being adhered to and the property is guest ready.
  • Manage third party contracts and vendors to ensure products and services are being delivered per established contract.
  • Create special projects schedule for all items needing to be completed on a rotational basis. Examples include, but are not limited to deep cleaning, pressure washing, carpet projects, etc.
  • Ensure proper distribution, handling, inventory and return of all staff electronic devices and equipment.
  • Celebrate team successes and recognize outstanding performance.
Education, Skills, and Experience:
  • High school diploma or GED
  • 2+ years' experience in housekeeping at a high-volume resort or related professional area.
  • Excellent management skills.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Able to read and understand financials and budgets.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to interact with a wide range of people.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills utilizing data to support decisions.
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
  • Inspired always to lead Evermore brand and team member values.
  • Self-starter that can work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Able to work various shifts or days of the week according to business needs.
  • Valid Florida CDL Driver's License with an acceptable driving record.
Physical Requirements:
  • Able to safely lift, pull and push up to 25 pounds.
  • Able to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, bend, and reach periodically.
  • Subject to environmental conditions, work activities can occur inside and outside.
