If you are ready to come Be The Difference- apply now!OverviewPublic Area Attendants play an integral role in ensuring that each of our customers have exceptional experience by keeping our lobbies, hallways, public bathrooms and other common use areas tidy and clean. Public Area Attendants are responsible for positive guest interactions while on the resort grounds and greeting them in a friendly and efficient manner. They must also be knowledgeable about resort and able to provide information to guests that may need assistance. At all times, Public Area Attendants are expected to be attentive to our Guests' needs, making them feel welcomed.Your Role:Ensure cleanliness of public areas, dusting, vacuuming and furniture placement.Polishes all sign displays and stairway handrails.Dusts all pictures and furniture.Checks and cleans all public restrooms, including the poolside restrooms, on a frequent basis throughout the day/evening, replacing paper supplies as needed.Checks, cleans and re-stocks employee restrooms daily.Remove trash and vacuums carpets in internal offices.Maintains a neat appearance of work cart.Report all maintenance needs and special cleaning needs.Return all lost and found articles to Housekeeping Office.Practice safety standards at all times. Clean up spills immediately.Responsible for cleanliness of mini lobbies, exits and main hallways.Constant awareness of safety hazards (i.e. broken glass, frayed electrical cords, leaks, broken locks and suspicious persons) and report to Supervisor or the Housekeeping Office. Follow all training procedures set forth in the Bloodborne Pathogens Program  .Assist other departments as needed.Your Environment: Well lit, temperature controlled, resort areas settings. Mostly indoors, some outside building work as well. Standing and walking on hard surface flooring. Comfortable shoes a must!QualificationsThe right person will show a lot of energy and hustle, customer service skills, and should thoroughly enjoy creating excellent experiences for our customers. The ideal candidate will also have a friendly, outgoing disposition and previous experience working in a Housekeeping department in a bustling, fast-paced, resort setting.In addition, the right candidate match should have or be able to:Housekeeping experience desirable.Neat, pleasant personality.Ability to work on feet for an extended period of time.Ability to communicate effectively.Basic knowledge of chemicals and their uses.Able to lift 50+ pounds and push 100+ pounds.#J-18808-Ljbffr
