Direct ReportHousekeeping SupervisorEmployee Profile and Desired Traits•High level emotional intelligence•Active in team dynamics, conflict prevention/resolution, and identifying customer needs•Cheerful attitude and servant leadership disposition•Dedicated customer service and people oriented•Adaptability in a fast-paced environment with ability to learn and develop hard and soft sills•Ability to interact with men and women of all ages and maturity levels of staff/customersDuties & Responsibilities•Clean building floors, common areas, bathrooms, and rooms with sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, vacuuming, and removing trash.•Stock restrooms, storage areas, and maintenance supplies with cleaning equipment.•Use property management system to identify and prioritize cleaning tasks.•Assist with room turnovers ( flipping ) in hotel and bunk houses.•Maintain a cleaning log to track completed areas and inspections.•Report unsafe conditions or required repairs to supervisors.•Maintain a clean, organized, inspected, neat, and safe work area•Other duties or projects as assigned by SBR leadership•Abide by policies and procedure outlined in the SBR staff handbook Qualifications & Training•18 years of age or older•Strong time management skills and prioritization skills•General compute knowledge•Ability to follow safety procedures and comply with policies•Ability to use Microsoft Teams daily for work related communication and coordination•Be or become a registered member of Scouting AmericaPerformance Results•Shows appreciation to coworkers in written and verbal form•Actively engages with team to provide improvements to the departmentPhysical Requirements•Up to 8 hours a day of either standing, walking, hiking, and the ability to lift 50 lbs.•Can pass the physical exam and approved for SBR height and weight requirements UniformSummit staff uniformHousing10x12' Platform Tent; Staff CampExpected Weekly Hours45 - 55
