Housekeeping Staff Shifts: Day, Afternoon, and Evening Shifts. Alternating Weekends, Holidays.

Our Environmental Services Department is seeking experienced Housekeeping Staff for long term care nursing facility in Cortland, NY.

Housekeeping Staff Key Duties

Performing routine housekeeping, porter, and laundry duties. Maintain proper cleanliness and sanitation throughout the facility.

. Clean vacant rooms and general areas assigned. Daily floor care and garbage removal.

. Process the linen for the facility and personal residents clothing.

Perform other job-related duties as they become required.

Housekeeping Staff Qualifications

• Prior experience in Environmental Services preferred; we will provide on-the-job training for entry-level candidates. High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
• Ability to read, speak, and understand English, follow directions, and complete tasks.
• Ability to interact positively with residents, families, clients, other personnel, and the public.
• Ability to lift/carry a maximum of fifty pounds, push/pull a maximum of fifty pounds, stand, bend, and walk for extended periods of time.
