The Housekeeping Worker is responsible for cleaning and supplying patient rooms, nursing stations, ancillary areas, and other areas assigned in accordance with standard procedures of the Environmental Services Department and in accordance with the Medical Center objectives. Qualifications: Required: Successful completion of general and department specific orientation Preferred: Previous Hospital housekeeping preferred Scheduling Requirements: Monday-Friday 8:00 am-4:00 pm Essential Functions: Arrange furniture for meetings, workshops and community affairs Assists in cleaning of emergency spills observed or upon request Cleans housekeeping closet and maintains par levels Collects and transport all waste, including RMW, according to policy Compacts trash or places in containers Damp buffs and shampoo carpets with approved equipment Dry and wet mops floors of rooms and offices Dust mops and wet mops corridor, stairwells and other common areas Empties waste receptacles and removes trash Ma...Housekeeping, Worker, Health, Healthcare, Patient
