MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONSAny combination of education and experience that would provide the required knowledge and abilities is qualifying. A typical way to obtain the knowledge and abilities is:Housing and Community Services Technician IEducation: Completion of the twelfth grade or equivalent.Experience: Three years of experience in general clerical work required. Experience in Housing Authority or Social/Human Services Agency preferred. Ability to communicate in Spanish is desirable.Housing and Community Services Technician IIEducation: Completion of the twelfth grade or equivalent is required. Two years of college level course work including social sciences, mathematics, business administration and/or related courses of study is desirable.Completion of courses in Housing Quality Standards, Occupancy Standards and Eligibility Standards are required.
