The RN II position provides effective and efficient direct patient care, which may include patients with varied and complex needs. This position communicates and collaborates with physicians and the interprofessional healthcare team to facilitate, coordinate and maintain compassionate, efficient, quality care and achieve desired treatment outcomes.The RN II position demonstrates clinical competence in providing care, utilizing technology, administering medications, performing procedures, and managing emergencies, acting as the patient's and family's advocate to monitor and maintain patient rights. This position assumes leadership roles with progressive responsibility, including but not limited to participating in or leading unit and shared governance initiatives, acting as a charge nurse or preceptor to students or new employees, and possibly contributing to service line or hospital-wide initiatives in partnership with management.B) Emergency Room Nursing: 1. ER Nurse:Job duties are the same as Medical Surgical Nursing, but this position is reserved for registered nurses who are dedicated to an operating room, emergency department, or cardiac catheterization lab.POSITIONS AVAILABLE: 5 positions for Emergency and 6 for Medical Surgery.JOB TYPE: Full-time / Permanent, 90 days probatory periodSALARY: Depending on the position, remuneration varies
- Medical Surgical Nurse:$76,000 to $116,000 / year.
- ER Nurse: $93,000 a $115,000 / Depending on experience.
Shift differential:
- $ 3.25-night shift differential if you work day and night.
- The night shift differential for the day shift begins at 3 pm.
- Night shift differential: $4.50
WORKWEEK:
- Day Shift: 6:45 am to 6:45 pm
- Afternoon Shift: 11 am to 11 pm or 12 pm to 12 am
- Night Shift 6:45 pm to 6:45 am
QualificationsEDUCATION:
- University Degree - BSN / Bachelor's Degree in Nursing Science
- Professional License
- Preferred CPR and ACLS, PALS
- Preferred specialty certification for specialty positions
REQUIREMENTS:
- NCLEX
- State Licensure (Issued by the State of Washington)
- Some specialty preferred
- 1 to 2 years of nursing experience
- Criminal background check
- Drug test
- At least 3 references
- Advanced English Level required: 70 % or more
