The HR Analyst's is instrumental in overseeing Paycom, the agency's Human Capital Management System. University Settlement's People team continues to evolve by supporting our internal clients with data that enables our leaders and their respective teams to make more informed decisions. They will do so by analyzing data and creating user-friendly reports and overviews. This role is client-facing and will partner with Program Directors and our colleagues in External Relations, Finance, and Payroll with audits. Expect to collaborate with the People leadership team on ad hoc projects such as compensation surveys and analysis required for annual filings, such as the EEO report.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversight of the Human Capital Management System, Paycom to ensure employee files are updated, administer security access, and oversee document management.
  • Utilize Business Intelligence applications (eg, PowerBI, Tableau) for data visualization and dissemination of information.
  • Support program and department audits by providing data to meet the requirements of our funders and regulatory agencies.
  • Collaborate with People team colleagues to ensure each function complies with timely documentation and document management practices.
  • Support ad-hoc requests and data analysis needed for Programs and the People team to identify trends.
  • Coordinate with People team colleagues for updates to the People SharePoint site.
  • Partner with People leadership to submit EEO report and industry surveys
  • Present analytical findings in written documentation, charts, graphics and presentations that effectively communicate results and implications for management decisions.
  • Complete other tasks and special projects as assigned by the Chief People Officer.
  • Project management: Develop project plans for all significant projects assigned that clearly outline tasks and schedule.
  • Handle confidential information with sensitivity and discretion.
  • Take ownership of projects to ensure quality deliverables are achieved on time.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2 years experience with HRIS systems, and comfortable with working in a tech-savvy environment. Intermediate-level experience with Paycom HRIS or similar HRIS.
  • Ability to analyze, interpret, organize, and visualize large amounts of data.
  • Two years experience in data management and administration duties such as collection, analysis, and reporting.
  • Demonstrated experience in work environments where critical thinking, analytical, and problem-solving skills are applied to your work.
  • Project management experience preferred.
  • Contribute to system decision-making, scoping, and arranging HR system projects to support the overall People strategy.
  • Must be detail-oriented and possess strong written and oral communication skills.
  • The work is fast-paced, and the successful self-starter must have strong organizational and time management skills. They are comfortable with change and can pivot to support the changing priorities of our Programs.
  • Excellent relationship management and communication skills to translate complex problems using non-technical terms.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or a related field.
  • Proficient with MS Office programs, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, Word and Outlook.
  • Must be professional and exercise sound judgment when dealing with sensitive and confidential matters.

Work Schedule: Full time, Monday - Friday, 9:00 am - 5:00 pm, 35 hours per week
