The Workforce Intelligence Team provides workforce related reporting, analytics, and business insights to HR professionals and business leaders across Schwab. Our team is looking for an analyst who is comfortable navigating a variety of tools, who has an eye for details, and who is focused on creating a predictable, high quality customer experience. As a member of this team, the selected individual would couple analytical strengths with functional knowledge to bridge the gap between business problems and data driven solutions by providing consultation, interpretation, and analysis based on available workforce data.
  • Managing workforce data and reporting request intake and assignment, clarifying requirements with the client and to the developer
  • Partnering closely with developers within the team to ensure products are delivered that are audience appropriate and meet the client's need accurately
  • Attending project related or problem-solving meetings and represent the data point of view
  • Creating clear and concise requirements for report and dashboard developers
  • Interpreting reports and metrics for business partners helping them to understand the story the data is telling
  • Having a natural curiosity to explore hypotheses and provide insights based on findings
  • Adhering to team standards for testing and documentation, and identify and propose improvements
  • Interacting with clients to ensure clear communication and a reliable reporting experience
  • Using existing HR systems to generate ad hoc, and standard recurring reports to support business needs and HR processes
What you have To ensure that we have fulfilled our promise of 'challenging the status quo,' this role has specific qualifications that successful candidates should have. Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree
  • 5+ years of experience in a data analyst or consulting role, with an emphasis on reporting and extracting data from systems, preferably in human resources
  • Experience reporting from the following HR related systems preferred: Workday, iCIMS, SumTotal, or ServiceNow
  • Proficiency with MS Excel, comfort with filtering and basic formulas or pivot tables
Preferred Qualifications
  • A natural ability to think logically and to design and process logical / sequential statements
  • Experience supporting learning and development
  • A high degree of attention to detail and follow-through, following or establishing procedures to monitor and bring closure to assignments and projects
  • Strong organization skills, ability to manage multiple tasks at once and adapt to changing work environment and priorities
  • Ability to maintain a high degree of confidentiality
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • A passion for creating an exceptional user experience
  • Experience using dashboard or business intelligence tools (preference for Tableau) is a plus
