Miura proudly builds its boilers in Rockmart, GA.Miura America is committed to Setting the New Standard in Steam Generation within the United States and is seeking a Human Resources Assistant, based out of our Rockmart GA location.Purpose of position: To perform administrative tasks and services to effectively support the organizations human resources and general affairs departments. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Provide excellent customer service to all;Maintain accurate and up-to-date human resource files, records and documentation, including data entry, scanning and filing;Answer frequently asked questions from applicants and employees relative to standard policies, benefits, hiring processes, etc., and refers more complex questions to the appropriate level of the HR staff;Maintains the integrity and confidentiality of human resource files and records;Provides clerical support to the Human Resources / General Affairs departments;Conducts new hire orientation in person as needed, coordinating and scheduling the event and necessary speakers;Assists with onboarding tasks such as new hire paperwork, uniforms, PPE, pictures, timeclock access, system access;Assist Recruiter with ID copies, background checks, drug testing and other recruiting onboarding duties;Conduct monthly reporting for departments that request information, while analyzing the data for accuracy;Create monthly Turnover Report, analyzing data and making suggestions to improve retention;Assists with planning and execution of special events such as open enrollment, organization-wide meetings, employee recognition events, holiday events and celebrations;Complete special projects as they arise;Perform other duties as assigned;Position Requirements (knowledge, skills and abilities required to perform satisfactorily in the position):
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
- HR Background preferred, minimum of two years;
- Payroll processing experience preferred;
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to manage sensitive and confidential situations with tact, professionalism and diplomacy;
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail;
- Ability to work independently, as well as part of a team;
- Ability to thrive in a fast faced environment;
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software;
- Proficient with or the ability to quickly learn human resource information systems (HRIS) and similar computer applications;
