**Alaant Workforce Solutions is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented HR Assistant for our client in Albany, NY. In this role you will play a pivotal role in administering benefits and supporting HR functions.**
**Hours and Benefits for the HR Assistant** **(Temporary):**
+ Monday Friday, 8am-4pm
+ Temporary assignment
+ $23.00 an hour
+ Benefits package includes Medical, Dental, Vision and 401(K) after 60 days of employment
**Responsibilities for the HR Assistant** **(Temporary):**
+ Manage and administer employee benefits programs including medical, dental, vision, 403(b), and more.
+ Conduct benefits presentations for new hires and distribute enrollment materials.
+ Assist employees with benefits inquires, plan changes, and eligibility.
+ Maintain and update the HRIS self-service portal.
+ Process leave of absence requests, disability paperwork, and ensure compliance with COBRA and ACA requirements.
+ Facilitate open enrollment, wellness events, and employment recognition programs.
**Requirements for the HR Assistant** **(Temporary):**
+ Associates degree in Human Resources or related field
+ 2+ years of experience as a HR Assistant or similar role
+ Proficiency in MS Office, specifically Excel
