Job Function SummaryThe HR Business Partner provides onsite HR support and consolation for the Houston Distribution Center located near Katy/Brookshire. This includes staffing, onboarding, benefit administration, payroll, workers compensation, employee engagement, and other duties to support the distribution center. The HR business partner will be responsible for various HR systems, HR related support tasks and driving process improvement and efficiencies. This position will work cross-functionally to ensure North America HR focus is considered for business decisions at the Houston distribution center.This is a fully onsite position. Core working hours are Monday - Friday, however the position may require evening/weekend availability based on business needs.Major Areas of AccountabilityBusiness Partnering* Actively visible on the floor and maintains an open-door policy for all employees.* Works closely with leaders on performance coaching, recruitment and retention strategies, legal issues and employee relations, needs assessments, and planning.* Participate in leader meetings to ensure relevant communication is being given to leaders.Staffing* Manage open positions in Applicant Tracking System (ATS) to ensure organized recruiting process.* Partner with staffing agencies to ensure temp labor requests are filled and temp labor is managed appropriately.Onboarding* Execute Coloplast onboarding program to ensure standard onboarding plan.* Processes and communicates relevant on-boarding information to the appropriate parties for new employees and temporary or contract personnel.* Coordinate with Talent Acquisition/HR Operations the New Hire/Termination Process including; pre-employment/termination paperwork, background checks, reference checks, pre-employment tests and performing new hire orientations/exits.* Processes and communicates relevant on-boarding information to the appropriate parties for new employees and temporary or contract agency workers.Systems / Payroll* Accurately process HRIS entry transactions including new hires, terminations, transfers, promotions, equity increases and various Success Factors operations in a timely manner to ensure payroll accuracy and effective management of employee data.* Responsible for running routine query and/or HR related ad hoc reports.* Accountable for HRIS management and maintenance- including reporting, improvements and audits.* Be the liaison between HR and Payroll for system effectiveness.* Assist with administrative registration for payroll system for employees* Coordination and process management of vendor credentialing.People Cycle* Support all activities related to the People cycle process to include training leaders/employees, communication plans and manage project plan.* Partner with HR Operations and leaders to ensure consistency with cyclical processes such as Merit, STI, and performance management.ER / Policies / Compliance* Partner with management to effectively enforce policies and procedures to ensure compliance and performance expectations* Process documentation for employee relations matters and help resolve matters by working with leaders.* Maintain high level of confidentiality when handling employee relations issues, sensitive documents, and strategic goals* Interface with other Coloplast HR groups to ensure alignment and consistency. Includes participation in special projects and local policy development.* Manage all personnel files and maintaining a filing process including I-9 and employee form compliance. This includes: Global Operations NA job descriptions and interview guides and ensure they are relevant and up to date.Other responsibilities* Interface with external customers, law firms and other experts, agencies, and other HR service vendors including temporary staffing agencies.* 5-10% domestic travel* Coloplast employees are required to conduct business to the highest ethical and professional standards; comply with applicable laws and regulations, the Advamed Code of Ethics on Interactions with Healthcare Professionals, and company policies.* Other job duties as assignedBasic Qualifications* Bachelor's Degree in HR or related field* 2+ years of HR business partnering / generalist experience* Bilingual Spanish/English* Proven track record of partnering at all levels within an organization* Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel and PowerPoint* Working knowledge of common human resources and payroll practices; Federal and State regulations* Strong detail orientation with a high degree of accuracy and sense of urgency* Proven ability to provide a high level of customer service* Ability to organize and prioritize job tasks in a deadline driven environment* Ability to drive and influence change* Demonstrate a high degree of integrity and ability to work with confidential information with absolute discretion* Schedule flexibility - ability to work occasional evening/weekendPreferred Qualifications* Experience in a manufacturing and/or distribution center* Multi-site experience* PHR/SHRM-CP CertificationPursuing an ambitious growth agenda, Coloplast develops and markets products and services that make life easier for people with intimate healthcare needs.
