HR Business Partner, you will be responsible for providing HR support and guidance to employees and management working closely to understand the business needs and objectives.
Essential Functions - Develop and implement HR strategies and programs to support the business unit
- Provide coaching and guidance to managers on HR-related issues, including performance management, employee relations, talent development and compensation
- Manage employee relations issues, including conducting investigations and implementing corrective action
- Collaborate with the HR team to develop and implement company-wide HR initiatives and programs
- Assist with the development and implementation of policies and procedures
- Analyze data and provide insights and recommendations to business leaders on HR-related issues
- Administer employee benefits including deduction audits, processing invoices, escalating claim issues and open enrollment.
- Administer leaves of absence (i.e. FMLA, short-term and long-term disability and unpaid leave of absence)
- Administer workers compensation reporting and benefits
- Prepare annual reports including EEO-1
Work Experience - Bachelor's degree in human resources or a related field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in HR, with a focus on business partnering
- Strong understanding of HR laws and regulations
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to build relationships with internal stakeholders and effectively influence business leaders
- Proficiency in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office
- SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP certification, preferred
