This position will support multiple clients within Development Sciences and Global Clinical Supplies (DSCS).

The Human Resources Business Partner serves as a consultant to management on human resource-related issues and acts as an employee champion and change agent, seeking to develop or implement Human Resources integrated solutions to complex businesses and organizational needs. The position formulates partnerships across the Human Resources function to deliver value-added service to management and employees that reflects the business objectives of the organization.

The HRBP coaches leaders and teams and provides guidance and expertise in the development of the organizational talent and diversity strategy, talent management, workforce planning, organizational design, restructuring, change management, leader effectiveness, performance management, compensation and rewards, and employee relations concerns.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provides HR consulting and coaching to leaders. Understand dynamics and key business priorities of client groups to provide support to business leaders on effectively managing and leading their organizations.
  • Support all talent management, organizational design and organizational alignment activities within client group(s). Lead client restructuring activities when necessary.
  • Support organizational change management activities. Sponsor and support the talent and diversity strategy for the assigned organization. Drive culture change and team effectiveness strategies.
  • Provides day-to-day performance management guidance to line management (e.g., coaching, counseling, career development, employee relations).
  • Collaborate across the HR network and with other stakeholders across the organization to resolve escalated issues and generate solutions to enable client's business strategy.
  • Ambassador leading and supporting our cultural growth and diversity & inclusion initiatives, steward and exemplar of compliant and ethical behavior.
  • Coach leaders and members of leadership team(s) to successfully manage all cyclical people management processes (talent management, succession planning, performance management, compensation planning, etc.).
  • Provides Human Resources policy guidance and interpretation.
  • Analyzes trends and metrics to provide guidance.
  • Partner with the learning & development organization on learning strategies and solutions to support and enable talent strategy.
  • Partner with talent acquisition organization on activities in support of the organization's workforce plan and talent strategy.

Skills/Competencies:

  • Minimum of a bachelor's degree, or currently in pursuit of degree completion, or equivalent relevant work experience in Human Resources, or related discipline.
  • Minimum 10 years' experience in Human Resources, or related discipline (with Master's degree, minimum experience is 8 years).
  • Highly effective written and verbal communicator with demonstrated ability to build trusted relationships, effectively influence, consult with and coach senior leaders and managers.
  • Ability to strategically prioritize time and problem solve against most impactful activities and initiatives.
  • Ability to demonstrate and foster collaboration among peers and extended HR. Experience navigating and leveraging HR systems and data analytics to support client consultation.
