Join us.About the TeamWe are seeking an HR Business Partner to provide support to our TikTok Engineering teams. You will be responsible for employee relations, retention and supporting initiatives such as performance reviews, while also improving existing processes and procedures collaborating with key stakeholders across the business. As we continue to rapidly grow, you will also assist in building innovative new programs to support our R&D teams as they scale. The role will be based in our San Jose office.Responsibilities1. Partner with your assigned business unit(s) and implement high-quality HR practices within the team.Manage employee disciplinary issues and provide advice to business leaders on ways to manage each case.2. Consult with line management and provide HR guidance when appropriate, incl. talent development, performance management, and employee relations.3. Proactively assess team and employee development needs, make recommendations, and implement appropriate solutions.4. Integrate and partner with HR colleagues in the HR operations, Employee Relations, Compensation & Benefits, and other HR teams to implement solutions.5. Drive employee engagement agenda for the employees in your business unit(s).6. Be the ambassador of TikTok organizational culture. Plan and implement organizational culture activities.Qualifications Minimum Qualifications1. BA/BS degree in a relevant field, or equivalent years of HR experience2. 4+ years HR experience3. 1+ years of experience as an HR Business Partner4. Experience with performance management, employee relations and data analytics/reporting.5. Demonstrated project management and change management experience, and ability to drive programs independentlyPreferred Qualifications1. Master's degree in human resources or related field is a plus2. Interpersonal communication skills and experience building relationships at all levels of the organization3.
