We offer services in all areas of the ramp, cabin cleaning, janitorial, security, passenger, and baggage handling operations.Key Responsibilities
  • Work on special projects as needed, frequently synthesizing data into presentable information such as investigation results
  • Corresponds with the Director of Labor Relations and HR Manager on employee investigations
  • Manage benefit changes for employees including completing and filing required paperwork, vendor notifications, and payroll software changes
  • Submit and monitor worker's compensation and disability claims as needed
  • Provide information to employees on payroll, benefits, and company policies as requested
  • Serve as an investigatory in the research and resolution of employee complaints
  • Support EEOC reporting
  • Support for HR data entry and processing of personal action forms including termination, transfers, promotions, W-4 updates, and verification of employment, among others
  • Serve as a point of contact between operations and Human Resources regarding HR-related matters
  • Maintains confidentiality and the utmost integrity and fairness at all times
  • Maintain confidential personnel files for the company in accordance with established guidelines and policies
  • Support with all employee engagement initiatives
  • Maintain a professional and productive relationship with union representatives as well as operation leaders
  • Performs other related duties as requested or assigned
Key Qualifications
  • Associate's degree and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience in Human Resource field
  • 2+ years of experience in the Human Resources field
  • Proficiency with or the ability to quickly learn the organization's HRIS and talent management systems
  • Knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations
  • Union experience is a plus, but not required

  • Must be able to obtain a SIDA Badge from the airport
  • Must pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check
Work EnvironmentThis job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets, and fax machines. The noise level in the work environment is typical of that of an office. Incumbents may encounter frequent interruptions throughout the work day.Physical DemandsThis is largely a sedentary role and required being able to remain in a stationary position for prolonged periods of time.
