Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assist with internal and external HR-related inquiries and requests.
- Maintain employee records.
- Assist with the recruitment process by identifying candidates, performing background checks, scheduling interviews, and providing in-services in corporate compliance mandates.
- Perform orientations and update records of new and current staff.
- Support other assigned functions.
Requirements:
- Experience as an HR Coordinator a plus, Nursing Home or Health field experience needed.
- Exposure to Labor Law and employment equity regulations.
- Effective people management skills.
- Good understanding of HR functions and best practices.
- Good written verbal communication skills.
- Works well under pressure and meets tight deadlines.
- Highly computer literate with capability in email, MS Office, and related business and communication tools.
